Further Information for Prep

Children turning 5 years of age prior to June 30 are eligible to apply for enrolment into Prep at Our Lady of the Southern Cross College.  

Students have access to a purpose-built Prep space that has specifically designed indoor and outdoor learning environments to allow our youngest students to explore, wonder, investigate and grow.  

Our Prep classrooms:  

• have child sized toilets and bathrooms
• are light, spacious and airy
• are airconditioned and heated
• are well equipped with age-appropriate resources to foster skill development, particularly in the areas of early literacy and numeracy
• have teachers who are experts in their fields and who are committed and passionate Early Years educators
• integrate technologies into the learning program. 

With a focus on building relationships, our nurturing environment provides a safe place for our students to work cooperatively with others whilst learning to think independently and problem solve in a creative and curious manner.
