Further Information for Prep

Children turning 5 years of age prior to June 30 are eligible to apply for enrolment into Prep at Our Lady of the Southern Cross College.

Students have access to a purpose-built Prep space that has specifically designed indoor and outdoor learning environments to allow our youngest students to explore, wonder, investigate and grow.

Our Prep classrooms:

have child sized toilets and bathrooms
are light, spacious and airy
are airconditioned and heated
are well equipped with age-appropriate resources to foster skill development, particularly in the areas of early literacy and numeracy
have teachers who are experts in their fields and who are committed and passionate Early Years educators
integrate technologies into the learning program.

With a focus on building relationships, our nurturing environment provides a safe place for our students to work cooperatively with others whilst learning to think independently and problem solve in a creative and curious manner.
