Early Years
How wonderful was it to see all our Early Years students begin the term so enthusiastically? The classes were a hive of activity within minutes of the bell ringing with students reviewing goals from the end of Term 1 and preparing themselves to be the best learner they can be during Term 2.
There are obviously many “tools” that are necessary for a classroom and a school to run smoothly. One of the most important tools for a child’s day to run smoothly is the simple act of bringing a hat to school. Without a hat, it becomes impossible for a student to participate fully in PE lessons or lunchtime play, as well as the myriad of other times hats are needed when classroom lessons are conducted outside the confines of the physical room. We would never expect a child to get through a school day without ready access to pencil and paper – and the same consideration should be given to having a hat on hand every day. Please support your child with this in order for them to be able to fully participate.
