The Year 12 Food and Nutrition class had Homestyle Bake deliver a range of their products to use as samples for their upcoming assessment yesterday. For their task they need to generate a new product in their single serve carbohydrate product range that is inline with current eating trends ie using alternative sources of sugar (honey, maple syrup etc instead of refined sugar) or increasing the resistant starch (to improve gut and intestinal health). Homestyle Bake delivered a range of products for the students to taste, free of charge. We are very appreciative of the support from Homestyle Bake for this task.
