On Tuesday afternoon, our Year 5 Technology students had the privilege of visiting the Dalby Garden Centre and the Ausplant Nursery. Students were guided through each nursery and shown the many different systems of management in order to maintain a healthy environment for each plant. Water systems, pest management, plant nutrition, and packaging and transport were identified and the students were able to ask questions about these areas. A huge thanks goes to Brady Cummings at Ausplant Nursery and Jen and Sonie at the Dalby Garden Centre for providing this wonderful learning experience.
