Lunch Box Ideas from the P & F
- 1 1/4 cup water, Luke warm
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast or 20g fresh yeast
- 1 1/2 teaspoons castor sugar
- 3 1/4 cups plain flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup olive oil
Method
Place water, dry or fresh yeast and sugar in a jug and stir well. Allow to stand for 15 mins.
Combine flour and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add olive oil and yeast mixture and mix to combine using a butter knife.
Turn out contents of the bowl onto work bench using a generous amount of flour and knead for 10 mins. Roll dough into a ball and place back in bowl and cover. Put the bowl in a warm place to rise for 30 mins.
Divide into 4-6 portions, roll them out and fry in a pan until nice and golden (approx. a few mins per wrap).
