The College has a number of riders who successfully compete in a wide range of equestrian events including camp drafting, showing, dressage, reining, showjumping and much more.
Recently, Jorja Ellis and her horse Calboys Lethal Spin aka Chevy attended the Queensland Reining Horse Association State Championship Show held at the Queensland State Equestrian Centre at Caboolture. Jorja and Chevy competed in numerous events during the week and were the Reserve Champions in the Beginner Rider event. Jorja and Chevy also competed in the Freestyle event becoming State Champions with Jorja winning her first Championship Buckle.
Tobin Smart on his horse Bubbles also competed at the State Reining event and did extremely well.
This week, we have a team of seven riders competing at the Fraser Coast Interschool Equestrian Event at Maryborough and on day 1, all riders received ribbons in particular Jorja and Anna Lilburne who won the Freestyle event out of 13 teams.
