Year 12 student Jade Alderton has recently competed in the The WorldSkills Australia VETiS Hairdressing Competition in Ipswich. The VETiS (Vocational Education and Training in Schools) Hairdressing Regional Competitions test the skills and knowledge of 4000+ apprentices, trainees and students, who have the opportunity to win gold, silver and bronze medals and gain the chance to go on to compete at a national level. Jade took out a gold medal against 10 other competitors. Jade is currently completing her Certificate III in Hairdressing with Elite Hair. Congratulations Jade.
