Early Years Swimming Carnival
The Early Years Swimming Carnival will be held on Friday 26 November at the Dalby Aquatic Centre. This is the first time five-year-old students have attended the carnival. Students will travel on the College Coach leaving at 8.50am. Students will be back at school around 12.00pm. Swim shirts are optional for all races. Students may wear their house colours on the day. Programs will be available from the College Office on Thursday. More information will be sent home to parents early next week.
Return of Sporting Uniforms
As the end of the year is fast approaching, I am making an urgent request for the return of any sporting uniforms that may be still outstanding. Please return them ASAP. Replacement bills will be issued to students with uniforms not returned by Friday 26 November. This includes Under 15 Girls Touch Football Singlets, Under 15 Boys Touch Football Shirts and Boys and Girls Rugby Sevens Jerseys.
Volleyball
Congratulations to the Year 8 Girls Volleyball Team who competed at the Darling Downs Schools Cup Competition yesterday in Toowoomba. The team competed in the Year 10 /11 Girl’s competition to ensure they receive a higher standard of match practice before the Australian Schools Volleyball Cup in the first week of the holidays. Game results are listed below.
