National Child Protection Week runs from 5-11 September. This year’s theme is ‘Every child, in every community, needs a fair go.’ To treat all of Australia’s children fairly, we need to make sure every family and community has what kids need to thrive and be healthy.

Dear Lord,

I give you my children
Encircle them Lord,
Be ever beneath to break their falls.
Be ever beside them a constant friend.
Be ever behind them with wings of protection.
Be ever above them watching their way.
Be ever in front guiding each day.

Answer their prayers,
Stir up their hope,
Fill up their hearts with love.
Give them great dreams,
And the courage to try,
Hold them ever safe in your arms.

We ask this prayer in Jesus' name,
