Well, our OLSCC P&F Under 12 Championship has finished. I know you can't wait to know about all the amazing tennis, but we need to thank our sponsors and helpers. 

Firstly, like all great things, our event was 'Parent Powered'. P&F President Lotte  Verhoef, Sue Johansson, Donna Nothdurft, Steve Forbes, Jenni Ackland, Steve Conn and Megan Cartwright all assisted with the umpiring and setting up of the matches as well as cheering on the players.

Thank you to Coach Ben Campbell from Faultless Tennis Academy for lots of help and advice. Thank you also to Dalby & District Tennis Association and their club President Steve Forbes for allowing us to use the club, the courts and the BBQ and for helping on the day. We also must thank our awesome school, OLSCC, for sponsoring the trophy. And a big thank you to the children who participated. They were fair and played hard and had lots of fun.

The overall winner of the Junior Tennis tournament Under 12 trophy was Patrick Forbes who won his match against Rohan Cartwright. Most of the other matches were fun games and the players enjoyed the experience of playng a proper match and fine tuning the skills they have been learning in their tennis lessons. Those players were Penelope Cartwright, Mathew Ackland, Jessica Ackland, Kago Masako, Sega Masako, Alex Nothdurft, Lucinda Conn, Charlise Conn and Monique Smith. Parents Lotte Conn and Jenni Ackland played a parents match unpired by Donna Nothdurft.
